Past Master Clive Grimley and Past Mistress Catherine Grimley joined the Master, CPC Chairman Christine Smith and Tina Richardson in Bristol to meet three young recipients of prosthetics and their families.
For Hunter from Northern Ireland, Lily from Doncaster and Jamie from Southport, receiving their Hero Arms was a truly special occasion. They learned to operate their new bionic arms before celebrating with their families with a Halloween party.
Their excitement and hopes for the future were wonderful to hear. One handmade thank-you card summed it up beautifully: "Thank you for changing my life, I am so happy!" A wonderful reminder of the life-changing impact of our charitable giving.
