The Master and Chair of the Charity Projects Committee visited the Koalaa workshop in Acton on 24th April to meet Nate and the team manufacturing soft prosthetics.
The Glovers “Golden Glove Award’ was proudly on show along with a wide variety of prosthetic sleeves and tools.
The visitors were updated on the new products Koalaa are developing and heard about the speed at which prosthetics can be fitted in the UK and overseas. They are currently developing prosthetic tools to use when playing golf which can assist those with limb loss and those developing arthritic hands.
The Master was able to share his extensive knowledge of the glove making industry which the team found very useful. We received great thanks for the financial grants we have provided for their charitable giving in addition to our interest, encouragement and support.
