2018 Competition Results

The prizes for the 2018 Competitions were presented by Loyd Grossman at a lunch at Goldsmiths' Hall in the City of London on July 3 2018, and the winners were as follows:-

 GLOVE DESIGN COMPETITION

Category 1:  Gloves for the Lady Mayoress

Winner: Ms Ruvarashe Claudia Torto, Manchester Metropolitan University

Runner Up: Miss Monica Bateman, University of Northampton

Category 2: “Leading Ladies”

Winner: Mrs Rebecca Offredi, Royal School of Needlework

Runner Up: Miss Isabelle Johnson, Manchester Metropolitan University

 

The Dents Prize 

for the most commercial, creative and innovative design from all entries received:

Miss Mia-Louise Lambert, CoventryUniversity

The Silver Salver 

for the college making the greatest contribution to the competition:

Manchester Metropolitan University
